Study with Amelia DeMayo
Amelia is an accomplished vocal coach specializing in training young performers from ages five through college, alongside her talented co-teachers Marianna Karpatova, Gulnara Mitzanova, and Liliana Sotirova. Her students have appeared in numerous Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, including Les Miserables, The Lion King, and Mary Poppins, as well as in voice-over work for projects like Dora the Explorer and Kids Bop. In addition to coaching, Amelia has written several musicals for young audiences, featured in the Professional Children's Theater Series. As a performer, she has appeared in productions such as Cats (Grizabella), Les Miserables (Cosette), and Evita (Eva Perón). Amelia also offers career consulting for families with professional children and families with children seeking entry to a professional career.
Amelia is the creative director and founder of the Broadway Youth Ensemble, a select group of young singers who perform throughout the tri-state area with the support of The Bergen PAC.
